The history of Caribbean people tends to focus for the most part, on immigration and race. However, this book, British Caribbean Enterprise, has placed this field into a new orbit. Drawing on primary and secondary sources, Dr. Christopher A. Johnson has completed the first book on the British Caribbean SME sector spanning a century.
It provides over 200 cases of commercial firms and social enterprises, combined most of which remain outside the mainstream of British society. Undoubtedly, the example of these business leaders will help to redefine modern entrepreneurship whilst empowering young people in general, with a sense of purpose and value.
